Refresh Power BI Report inside of Teams

Facts;

  1. I have a Power BI report in Microsoft Teams.
  2. The data factory moves data around at night, followed by my dataset refreshes for said report.
  3. All refreshes run without any problems.
  4. After refreshes, the report in Teams is still showing yesterday’s data.
    Issue;
    Obviously, I want people in my organization to go into Teams and see an updated report. I would even be ok, if they had to hit a refresh button (refreshing the Teams tab, does NOT update the Report.)
    The only way I have found so far to update the Teams report is to open it in Power BI (desktop or web) and physically push the refresh button within the app and then re-publish it to make the report in Teams reflect the right data.
    What do I have to do to have a refreshed report sitting in Teams?

    Power Bi has its own support forums. They're actively answering questions in dedicated forums here.

    @Bill Bird ,

    Agree with DSPatrik, Power BI is currently not supported in the Q&A forums, the supported products are listed over here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/answers/products (more to be added later on).

    For the related questions about Power BI, you can ask in here https://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/home?category=powerbi or https://community.powerbi.com.

    In addition, you can refer to mussaenda’s solution in this thread. He put the file on a folder. Then import it to Power BI via this folder. It worked for him.
