Greetings,

I have a single column of data with dash or hyphen between letters and digits. I would like to use Power Query to clean up the format with the following rule*.

*No dash before or after a letter, but okay between numbers.

sample file attached with variations of the data value and desired outcome after transformation steps. Letters contain only upper case "A".."Z" and digits contains "0".."9". There is no special characters other than "-". None of the data values has a leading or ending with a "-".

Thanks.212659-sampledata.pdf

Power Bi is not currently supported here on Q&A. The product group for Power Bi actively monitors questions over at
