Hi,
This issue is ongoing and I have asked for help in a previous question asked, but no one has helped or resolved this problem.
Up till 2 months ago, I could use it in the new version of outlook and then it suddenly stopped. I went back the old version, but it is still not possible, can you please fix this issue!

There is no error code. The problem is that I have more than 1 email address in my outlook. I cannot drag and drop emails from the different inboxes in the folders of those different email addresses. I used to be able to do that, now I can only drop and drag an email that for example comes from my gmail account into a folder of that gmail account.

In order to verify, can you provide some related information?
What detailed version of Outlook are you using?
From you description, "I could use it in the new version of Outlook and then it suddenly stopped." Do you mean New Outlook for mac?
If so, according to my test, when I drag the email in personal mailbox to shared mailbox, it works well.

It is recommended you remove your Gmail account from outlook, then try adding it again.
I am using Hotmail. But that is the account, with my work mail, that I need to drop things from.

Hi, I have the same problem, running on 16.67 - all my accounts are set up as IMPA and have 2 Exchange accounts and one Gmail.. in the previous version 16.16 I could do it between all. Now I can only do it within the same account, can anyone help pls ? alternatively how doI install the old version back?

Given this case, it is recommended you try creating a new profile, which will create a new database and re-download your email from the server. You can rename your old profile or set the new profile to be your default then re-add your account. See: Manage profiles or identities in Outlook for Mac

This is my version of Outlook.
Like I said: I cannot drag and drop emails between folders of different email addresses in the NEW version of Outlook. I can do that in the OLD version. Until recently I was able to do it in the new version, now I cannot anymore.

I have uploaded a print screen of my version of outlook. Unfortunately it doesn't work for me. Not from, for example, my work mailaddress to my hotmail address.
In Outlook , you can simply click on any email that you want to save on hard drive and then drag/drop it to a folder on the hard drive or Desktop . You can also drag and drop multiple messages on any local or network folder. These messages are saved in MSG .
I don't understand what you mean. I want to be able to move messages between different folders of my email account. I used to be able to do that, now I can only drag and drop of move a message to a folder that is in the same email account.
I use 365 and Outlook for Mac
