Solved Wireless Desktop 900 monitor waking issue

After experiencing and reading of no solution to the USB dongle on the Microsoft Wireless Desktop 900 constantly waking up the monitor. I finally found it. Go to Device Manager. Go to Human Interface Devices Open Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse Click on Power Management Tab Disable the "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" Ta-freaking-Da!

Since I knew the Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse was the "new device in town", so I trolled Device Manager for Microsoft Hardware USB Mouse. Once there, I found the switch and turned it off. Voila!

I had the same problem here, but with a different Keyboard: Microsoft Comfort Keyboard 5050 (I use a different mouse, from logitech). My laptop is a Dell Alienware connected via HDMI to a Dell Display. Windows 11. My problem was that every time I lock computer, after 30 seconds, the display turned off and turn on again right after 1 second. Tried other solutions but nothing worked. I kept searching for a solution and then I found this question.

What I did to solve this problem was:

I went to Device Manager, Human Interface Devices and unchecked "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" option from all the items below Human Interface Devices (there were 26 items below, some of them didn't have this option in properties window but the ones that had, I disabled it). After that the problem was solved. Definitely!

DISABLE "Allow the computer to turn off this device to save power" this was the only thing that worked!!! finally my computer will go to sleep and NOT wake up a few seconds after screen goes off
