Azure AD Sync for different Tenant

Hi Experts,

We are trying to get some information and feasibility around Azure AD connect.

We have two different tenants tied to different directories ex. @xyz .com and @jaswant .com, and the authentication for both are different on-prem AD's. But we have a requirement of having the tenants under the same @xyz .com but the users and authentication method change to @jaswant .com. Is this doable with the Azure AD Connect, or for this to work the Directories mapped to the tenants should be the same?

Thanks

    Hi there @Dalbir Monga

It might be helpful to provide one more more examples of what you’re asking for.
I’m confused in what you’re saying about ‘having the tenants under the same @xyz .com’.
If you’re saying you want the same domain under 2 separate tenants I don’t think that’s possible.
For example, the moment you try to login as bob@xyz .com, Azure would need to direct you to the appropriate tenant so it could use Azure AD to authenticate you.
If you have 2 tenants with the same domain I don’t think that would work.

    Hope that helps.
