How to adjust box that was made in Design Ideas

So I used Design Ideas to make my slide gorgeous.  However I am trying to adjust the "box" that was made with Design Idea so it is more narrow and cannot find any controls or ways to do this.  If you see image this should make sense, it is the box with my name in it.  Even if I try to make the font smaller, etc. it only makes the text smaller, and won't affect the box.  Any advice greatly appreciated.

    Hi Bryan,

The box is a part of the slide layout generated by PowerPoint Design Ideas, it is not feasible to adjust or resize the box.

In this situation, I would suggest you check if other slide layout options generated from Design Ideas meet your requirement. You can adjust or change the picture to see if you can get more design idea options as well.

Meanwhile, if you'd like to make it is feasible to adjust the slide layout generated by Design Ideas, we kindly invite you post this idea in PowerPoint UserVoice to submit your feedback, which can help better our products and services for your and others.

    Regards,

    Joanne

Boxes created by Designer are often marked in the XML as "Not selectable"

usually you can hide the box in the selection pane and insert another the size you require.
