Given Microsoft's impressive progress in AI and machine learning fields, as evidenced by innovations like Cortana, I was curious whether there might be plans to integrate a similar AI generative model into Microsoft Visio. Specifically, I'm interested in the potential for automated generation of detailed technical diagrams based on user-provided textual descriptions.

Such a feature would undoubtedly revolutionize how we approach diagramming, making the process more efficient and accessible, especially for those of us working with complex systems and architectures.

I am looking for something like this also. I just went on the web looking for where AI can generates texts into Microsoft Visio process for me. I am surprised there is nothing like this at the moment

I must admit my disappointment with both the lack of innovation within Visio but also it's fragmentation into business segments and enterprise prices....the movement into SAS I do not like due to privacy and fragility of net based communication.
I will be fascinated to see how copilot and the microsoft fabric and knowledge graph may fit things together in a no code voice driven set of functionalities...

AI generated flow charts from text or table prompt would be quite valuable, and what a time saver! Looking forward to seeing a tool where users can start editing a flow chart from a reasonably interpreted text input.

I've been thinking about the same thing. There's huge potential here, and I'm a bit surprised others haven't raised this sooner.
