Microsoft Designer Keyboard

I purchased the Microsoft Designer Bluetooth Desktop Keyboard and Mouse and continuing to have issues with the keyboard, to the point where it shows as paired, but not connected.

I continually have to switch my laptop on and off to get it to connect and have had to remove the device and reinstall.

Please advise on a resolution

    I appreciate your time and effort getting back to this thread, what is the exact model of your computer for me to check the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturers website.

    For the meantime you can try these steps.

    Use the old Bluetooth driver.

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand the Bluetooth Driver

    -Look for Bluetooth driver that was installed

    -Right click and Update

    -Look for "Browse my computer for driver

    -Let me pick drivers available drivers

    -Choose an old driver and use it.

    -Restart and check.

    If issue persist we will download and install the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturers website, let me know what is the exact model.

    I have followed all of the steps, however this hasn't resolved the issue.

    My name is Carlo, I'm an Independent Advisor and community member like you.

    I am also using Windows 10 pc. Let us work together to sort this out.

    First, what is the exact model of your device for me to check the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturers website.

    Here's the steps you can try.

    Run the Bluetooth troubleshooter

    -Press Windows key + X

    -Go to Settings

    -Click Update and Security

    -Click Troubleshoot then “additional troubleshooter

    -Look for Bluetooth , click it and run the troubleshooter.

    Once done proceed with these steps.

    -Press Windows Key + R

    -Type Services.msc and hit enter

    -Look for "Bluetooth Support Service"

    -Set it to start then Automatic.

    Uninstall the Bluetooth driver.

    -Press Windows Key + X

    -Go to Device Manager

    -Expand Bluetooth Driver

    -Right click on the Bluetooth and hit uninstall

    -After restart the driver will be automatically installed.

    Restart your device, then try to pair the Bluetooth Keyboard and mouse.

    If issue persist we will download and install the Bluetooth driver from the manufacturers website.
