On Windows 11, after latest update, windows explorer seems broken. I have it pinned in taskbar and after clicking it, it doesn't launch, however if I click start menu button after that, several explorer windows start opening. Very annoying. Hope Microsoft fixes this soon.

Among the many problems in the new Windows Explorer, you can't easily print photos (either as 1, 2 4...32 per page) or maintain an explorer window at the left with pulldowns to subdirectories.

This version is a serious step backward. Who designed and who approved this mess?

Hi, I am Dave, I will help you with this.

In the preview update released on 26th September, they introduced a new File Explorer app and many people are reporting problems and bugs in that version.

The full update will be released next Tuesday (10th October) hopefully they may have resolved the bugs in that update, in the meantime, there is no fix available.

The best option would be to report the bugs to the developers on the Feedback Hub (Windows Key + F), the more people that report the problems the sooner they will patch the bugs.
