I moved some photos, movies & word documents to a pen drive. They were in separate folders. Few days later, when I opened the pen, there were only the folders but they were empty. All the photos, movies & the content of the word document were deleted.  Then I searched for a solution to this on Google and there I found a way to do it.

1. Type the command "CHKDSK [driveletter] /r" in the command promote.

2.  When it is almost complete it will ask you if you want to save lost chains into files. Go ahead and choose "Yes". Chkdsk will report back what it has done and go to my computer and check out your drive.

But this way didn't recovered my pen drive. After doing this, all the folders changed into files.

Please tell me the way to recover my files.....
