This message is from a trusted sender

I am getting 30-40 spam emails a day all marked "This message is from a trusted sender".

I report each one so why does Microsoft keep "trusting" these spammers?

When is Microsoft going to get on top of spamming and do something about it?

    Hi Michael,

If you receive the emails from a particular account, you try to add the address to a blocked sender list so that you don't receive the emails from that particular email address.

To block a particular sender, try the steps mentioned in the link

You may use the following link to report spam

Deal with abuse, phishing, or spam in Outlook.com

    Also check

Report junk email and phishing scams in Outlook on the web

    Hope this information helps.

Hi, thanks for replying but it doesn't really answer my question of...

Why is Microsoft "trusting" so many spam emails?

These emails are already going straight into Junk Mail and I have/ continue to report them.

28 out of the 30 spam emails I got today were "trusted" by Microsoft.

    No reply from Microsoft?

I have to assume then that seen as Microsoft is "trusted" all these spam messages they are accountable too.

No such thing as a Trusted Sender in Outlook.com - but there can be a Safe Sender.

    Hi,

I have just had one of these emails with 'This message is from a trusted sender' in green obviously from a spammer.

The 'This message is from a trusted sender' is an image put in by the spammer and not Microsoft trusting the sender. If you forward it (don't send it to anyone) you can edit the image so not a trust from MS.
