Graph API Subscription list endpoint returns empty result

Question

Since ~3-4 days ago my applications started to error out with 429 HTTP errors. As it turns out the "https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/subscriptions" endpoint returns an empty result for ~50 pages and then returns the subscriptions. This will trigger the 429 in the long run.
