Hello.

If I configure a virtual machine with the included SQL Server license, can I later change it for a license of my own, either by core or by cal?

What do you mean with "the included SQL Server license"? Are you referring to an Azure VM? In that case, you should change the tag of your question.

Yes. I mean the SQL license that comes in the Windows image of the Azure VM. If I choose this license that comes with the VM, then can I change it for my own license, either by core or by cal?

I don't know on the top of my head. I could create an Azure VM to test - but so could you. That's one of the great things with the cloud: you can create something for the day, and then throw it away.

By the way, you forgot to change the tag.
