Send on behalf of without "New Adress" in From Field

Situation:
User A is a Full Mailbox
User B is a Shared Mailbox

User A as "Full Access" and "Send on Behalf of" rights for User B

Send on Behalf of works fine in Outlook Mobile App and Outlook Web.

Automapping is Disabled for Shared Mailbox

User A and User B are added to Outlook Desktop as "Normal Accounts"

"Send on Behalf of" works only if a new Email address is added in the "From" field.

Both Addresses are visible in the address book.

Are we missing something?

Unless I am missing something, that sounds normal. What behavior were you expecting?

    Hi Andy,

first thanks for the quick response

as both Accounts are added "normal" to the Desktop App, i already have to Adresses "User A" and "User B" in the Selection field for "From".

I expected that when i select User B and write an Mail that it will be "Send on behalf of" but i get the Massage that i don't have permission to Send on behalf of.
If i manually add the Address of User B over ->From->Other Addresses and use this one the "Send on behalf of" works.

So to clarify User A should send Mails on behalf of User B without having to use the pont "Add other Address"

Ah ok so there must be 3 Mail addresses in the end in the From DropDown
    User A
    User B
And a manually Added User B for "Send on behalf of"

As I get a "Permission denied" massage this comes as user A only have "Send on Behalf of" and not "Send as" permission ?
Can I giver user A both permissions or will this lead to complications?

Again thank you for your quick help
