How to change location of microsoft store apps

hi and how do i change location of microsoft store games to another drive my pc has 10gb free storage but in my other drive it has 540gb i want to change location to it but i cant cause theres only 10 gb left on my C drive i want to change it without downloading the file first pls help me

Hi,

Thank you for writing to Microsoft Community Forums.

We understand the concern as you want to change the location where the new apps/games will be saved, when you install them from Microsoft Store.

Please try these steps and check:

1. Press Windows + I to open Settings.
2. Select System. Click on Storage.
3. Click on the link "Change where new content is saved."
4. Under "New apps will save to:" change the drop down option to your desired location.

We would also like to inform you that Microsoft has given the option to save/install any apps/games on a different drive, but it is on the developer of the game/app on how they design it. Whether they design it specifically for C drive where the OS is installed or any other drive irrespective of the location of the Operating system (OS).
