We installed Azure Migrate appliance to discover and assess physical or virtual servers from the on-premises. We followed the instructions and Azure Migrate Appliances Configuration Manger has been installed successfully. However, during the "Set up prerequisites" process, we received an error regarding (Appliance auto-update status: Failed to update the appliance services).
Critical service(s) are either not updated, installed or status is not available. Please help.

Thanks,

    Hello @Astabrak Sabah

    Thank you for your post.

For this issue, I wonder if you have followed the next troubleshooting guide below:

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/migrate/migrate-appliance#manually-update-an-older-version

Furthermore, there may be another fact that can be a blocking URL to connect to azure migration service so, you can either make this procedure from on-premises to azure via EXPRESSROUTE connection or Internet connection since replication from on-premises via IPsec tunnel is not support only for Failback testing.

    Looking forward to your feedback,

    Best Regards,
