Win 10 to Win 11 upgrade failed but wants me to keep rebooting to try again.

I tried to upgrade to Win 11 from Win 10 pro, after downloading I rebooted as instructed, the install continued but when it rebooted again it has rolled back to Win 10. Now it keeps telling me to reboot to complete the install but always comes back to Win 10. How do tell it to just give up on Win 11 install?

    In case if you're upgrading via Windows Update, try manual upgrade:

    Or you can also use Windows 11 Installation Assistant which you can download from here:

    Let us know if this helps!

    @Kapil Arya :
    At this point all I wanted was a way to get windows update to give up on installing windows 11 (I just found out the Win 10 will be supported until 2025 at least and I might need a new PC by then and avoid the upgrade situation entirely).
