TFS: How to add a package back into a project

I have an SSIS project stored under TFS and this has numerous packages within it. Someone in the team has committed their version of the "project file" which didn't include a reference to a package I'd recently added. Consequently:

  • the project hierarchy has no reference to my package
  • Source Control Explorer knows that my package exists and has full history, etc.

How can I get a reference to my package put back into the project? I can add a new package, populate the code, etc. but if I try to give it the same name as my "missing" package then I'll get a warning about a pre-existing package (I'd expect - don't want to risk trying it).

I can add the package under a new name but that's an annoying solution.

Is there a proper way to get my package back into my project?

Thanks.
