Dear Experts,

I'm exploring the possibility to use Windows Hello For business for our organization. I've spent some time to learn some concepts but I didn't find the official docs mentioning if this modern feature is also applicable to access some AAD configured cloud apps?

We have some in-house systems that support SSO login with our AD credentials, we use ADconnect to sync our on-prem objects to the cloud.
So in other words, my question is - is WHFB used for device sign-in only? or it can also be used for cloud apps sign-in?
For example, users log into outlook.office365.com, normally they need to input password, use MFA verification code, etc, can they just use WHFB for easier access?

If you need more details of the question, I'm here to provide.
Thanks a lot for reading.

    Hi there,

Windows Hello for Business cloud trust is a new trust model that is currently in preview. This trust model will enable Windows Hello for Business deployment using the infrastructure introduced for supporting security key sign-in on Hybrid Azure AD-joined devices and on-premises resource access on Azure AD Joined devices. Cloud trust is the preferred deployment model if you do not need to support certificate authentication scenarios.
