SuccessFactors inbound provisioning to AD based on ActiveEmploymentsCount field is deactivating 1 day too early

The SuccessFactors to AD provisioning flow by standard uses the EC field ActiveEmploymentsCount (under personEmpTerminationInfoNav) to steer the AD account status:
o When ActiveEmploymentsCount = 1, the AD account will be set active
o When ActiveEmploymentsCount = 0, the AD account will be set inactive

What we see is that this field by default is set to 0 already on the last working day of the SuccessFactors record, so accounts are terminated one day too early.

We took this up with SAP support already, but since this is a standard behavior it seems unlikely no one else is suffering from this?
