I just installed Office 365 (and just joined MS Community). What's the best way to save a folder (with a couple thousand emails) to a PDF document?

Thanks!

Tom

Issue- Office 365: Saving an email folder to a PDF file.

Suggestion- Follow the below steps:

  • Open Outlook and select your folder which you wants to convert in PDF and then right click on it and select “Convert [“Folder Name”] to Adobe PDF” (near the bottom of the list) .
  • A dialog box will open in which you can choose the location for saving the PDF of your folder. Name the file and click “OK.

(Note: Make sure Adobe acrobat DC “PRO” latest version is installed in your PC and this add-ins is enable for Outlook. To check add-ins, go to Outlook > File tab > Options >  Add-ins > at the bottom of the View and manage Office Add-ins, make sure the Manage box shows COM Add-ins, and then choose Go > check Acrobat PDFmaker Office COM Add-in selected/enabled. )

    Hello Tom,

Thanks for update. From our end, Adobe acrobat DC installed and we are able to view Acrobat PDFmaker Office COM Addin in Outlook. Since this is third party software, so our expertise is limited for it. For Adobe PDF" the same as Adobe Reader, you may check with them.

From our end, to further check this issue, could you please kindly provide us below details screenshot via Private Message, so we will check and assist you further.

    • Screenshot about your entire Office account page, so we will check your outlook version details with product information. For this, open Outlook > File tab > Office account and share entire page details.
    • Screenshot about your Outlook add-ins available list.

    Thank you for co-operation.

    Regards,

    Hi Ankita,

    Thanks much for your reply!

I got stuck trying to implement your solution. When I look at the COM Add-ins, I don't find Adobe PDF among the choices. It apparently is not installed as a COM Add-in and may not be on my computer. Is "Adobe PDF" the same as Adobe Reader which I believe *is* installed on my computer? Or is Adobe PDF another software item which I must license from Adobe?

This feature would be very helpful to me, so I am eager to have it. Thanks much for your help in facilitating this improvement.
