Developer tools had a weird item under OTHER

I was using MS Edge in Private Mode and was checking settings because I suspected some tampering with my browser. I looked in Developer Tools, then under Other and there was this unexplained link:

devtools://devtools/bundled/devtools_app.html?remoteBase=https://devtools.azureedge.net/serve_file/@626274a16bb350129a74ead7a3d8d53a5ad39364/&locale=en-US&can_dock=true&dockSide=undocked&enableLocalization=true

I see words such as "remotebase" and "azure" and can't understand how they would come into play. FYI I also discovered many, many phone models checked under SETTINGS>DEVICES>EMULATED DEVICES.

If someone there is familiar with this and can offer some explanation and advice, I would appreciate it.

Please provide the detailed information about what kind of tampering you noticed?

You said, In developer tools-> Other tab. But there is no other tab in the main menu of the dev tools. Other option is located under Developer tools->Network tab. Are you referring to that option?

Network tab shows the list of network requests that helps developers to find any network issues.

The options you seen for emulating different devices are for testing the web applications.

These options may not be useful for any normal user but it is very helpful to the developers.

For more information about dev tools you can refer to this link.

The URL you shared is for the developer tools and has some parameters at the end of it.

Let me know, if I misunderstand anything from your above description. I will try to correct myself and try to provide you further suggestions.

    Thanks for your understanding.

OK thank you very much. I thought this was going to Help desk but t hank you.
Why is this experimental info even on my laptop in the first place? I don't have a developer and I don't do any programming? The only reason I found it was by accidentally hitting the wrong thing.
