My student Azure account is created and have $100 free credit. Now I want to create VMs. However, when I login, it won't allow me to create resources. However, I'm getting $0 monthly invoices. What am I doing wrong?

Even with free credit you'll have to create a subscription and apply a credit card to the subscription.
You shouldn't be charged until you're credits run out.

I v'e got the same issue until I changed the Subscription name.
