Importing database authetication type only allows active directory

When Importing a database with Azure SQL the Authentication type is greyed out on Active Directory

When entered AD admin username and password database import will time out and have this error
An error occurred while communicating with the SQL Server using AdPassword-login:'' : Due to a configuration change made by your administrator, or because you moved to a new location, you must use multi-factor authentication to access ''.

    Hi @Dr Alise B Thank you for posting your question on Microsoft Q&A and for using Azure Services.

    My understanding is that the option authentication type is grey out and you are getting an error message after entering the ad username and password.

    1. The authentication type is grey out because you are not set as admin. Could you please go to the server's name under settings then go to Azure active directory and set your Azure Active directory name.
