Hi there.
Hello there. I have this problem with Outlook account settings as per my screen shot you will see.

When i click the More Information link it directs me to an unsavoury website. This seems to roam with me when i log on to multiple computers with in or outside of our company network. Even I do a fresh format/build/reload of windows 10/11 using a local admin account (NON DOMAIN/ NON AZURE AD JOIN) and install ms office 365 fresh. This link roams with me via the cloud. Are you please able to provide me with some incite on how this maybe happening. Can an administrator maybe add these custom links for a users Outlook deployment?
I have MFA enabled on my and have not been breached as per sign in logs on azure ad.
This is not malware as it happens to a fresh build of Windows 10/11 on multiple pcs with fresh Office Apps installed (no addins)
There is no intune or ad domain policies (not joined).
This is not a hybrid exchange deployment.

In order to better confirm the issue, please provide more information about your case:
- Does this issue occur with other users in your organization? And will this issue occur when you configure other accounts, such as Outlook.com account?
- How did you install the Office programs?
- What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook).
- In addition, will the "more information" be displayed in safe mode(Windows + R> type "outlook.exe /safe">enter)?

Considering something is set in other account settings, it's suggested that you could check the settings under Account Settings to check if there're any settings related to your issue, such as RSS Feeds.

Considering that the issue is only related to the specific account, i'm afraid to the issue is more related your account but not Outlook desktop client. If you would like to find the root cause, I would recommend opening a support ticket so the support can take a deep look into this issue and do some further troubleshooting.

Adrian Smith 0 Reputation points2024-02-09T20:13:27.2066667+00:00 For anyone that found this thread with a similar issue. I had some suspicious text in this same area of Outlook, but mine only read "TEST". My issue was also only specific to my account too, and followed my mailbox between computers too. Eventually I tracked this down to the Litigation Hold notes in Exchange. I was testing this Exchange feature and entered "TEST" in the notes field. You can find this setting in Exchange EAC from the details of the users mailbox and "Litigation Hold" settings. I dont know if this is the exact same place the OPs suspicious text came from and luckily my issue was my own doing (bad notations) whereas the OPs looks like malicious activity, but its at least one place to check if you're having this issue.
