Hello.

Please point me somewhere if this isn't the correct channel for this question.

Our company uses Bing Ads. I’m on the data team, we want to use the Bing Ads API to download data.
However, when using our data team email to register an app on Azure (needed to generate auths for Bing Ads API), we’re stuck on creating a new account: “You can’t sign up here with a work or school email address. Use a personal email address, such as Gmail or Yahoo!, or get a new Outlook email address.” The email is ******@websummit.com

What can we do now?

Microsoft Entra ID

    Hi @Hugo Fragata ,

    Thanks for reaching out.

I understand you are trying to register application on Azure but getting error "You can’t sign up here with a work or school email address. Use a personal email address, such as Gmail or Yahoo!, or get a new Outlook email address."

This error is due to you are trying to use your company account to register the application. Hence, I would suggest you contact your IT administrator to add the company account to your organizational tenant/ organizational azure active directory.

Once this work ID is added to your organizational tenant, then you need to create a Microsoft azure account using your work ID.

    Hope this will help.

    Thanks,
    Shweta
