Azure AD Application secret expired , even after renewing still it shows the expired certificate on the report.

Question

One of our application on Azure AD , secrets expired , we renewed it but it still shows it in expired state.

Any process to push this to reflect and enforce the new certificate.

Did you delete all the expired secrets and certificates from the application?

Also, how did you created the new the certificate for your Azure AD application?

Did you try to create the certificate using below powershell command and try to upload in manually?

$certname = "{certificateName}" ## Replace {certificateName} $cert=New-SelfSignedCertificate -Subject "CN=$certname" -CertStoreLocation "Cert:\CurrentUser\My" -KeyExportPolicy Exportable -KeySpec Signature -KeyLength 2048 -KeyAlgorithm RSA -HashAlgorithm SHA256 Export-Certificate -Cert $cert -FilePath C:\Users\AzureApp.cer
