There should be Option called Turn off or disabled to stop the campaign.

    Dear Jani Basha Mulla,

    Good day!

Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are glad to assist!

Based on your description regarding "Forcing to install the Microsoft Authenticator app after the entering the code for MFA to get access for outook and teams." May I please confirm that whether Microsoft Authenticator is applied for All users? To check this kindly go to Microsoft 365 admin center (Enter Admin credentials)-->Show All--> Choose Identity under **Admin centers-->**On **Microsoft Entra Admin center page -->Show All-->**Select Authentication Methods under protection--> Registration Compaign--> Kindly Check whether Microsoft Authenticator is applied for All users. If so, you can change who it is applied to by clicking All users. you may just set Inactive user instead all users

Furthermore, if you are still getting this situation, kindly try to disable security default check if it will make any difference Providing a default level of security in Microsoft Entra ID - Microsoft Entra | Microsoft Learn

Important Note: If you are not Admin, kindly contact your organization Admin to perform above for you

We are looking forward to your response! Please feel free to let me know if there are any updates or if I've got you wrong. I will keep assisting you based on the information you provide. We sincerely appreciate your patience and cooperation. Thanks for your precious time. Have a nice day!

    Best regards,

    Hi Dorothy,

We had the same issue previously; Microsoft is running some campaign for Microsoft Authenticator to use. In order to disable the campaign, please go to this location and click on Edit and change the status to managed by you and disable the campaign.

    Hi,

We are now in the process of having our staff use MFA. I am an admin and I am getting this message:

    Protect your account

For faster and safer way to sign in, your organization requires you to use Microsoft Authenticator.

Skip for now (1 time left)

We don't want to the staff to use the app. Any ideas, or can you tell me what happens after my 1 skip is done?
