Activatin 2022 Datacenter

Question

Hello, If I try activation server via PowerShell.
dism /online /Set-Edition:ServerDatacenter /AcceptEula /ProductKey:.....
The operation competed succesfuly.
But after restart the computer I see this error mesage.

We couldn´t complete the upgrade
Undoing changes
Don´t turn off your computer.

Any tips?

Is this instance already activated? What roles are installed? Is it patched fully?

Now instaled Evaluation version Windows server 2022. I don´t have none server roles only basic installation system.

What channel is the product key? (OEM, retail, volume)

We have Microsoft Volume licensing (https://admin.microsoft.com/Adminportal) for download SW and activation keys.

Ok, you should be using volume media that can be downloaded from the volume center site.

As a work around , mght also try using a kms key as intermediary step.
Dism /online /Set-Edition:ServerStandard /ProductKey:WX4NM-KYWYW-QJJR4-XV3QB-6VM33 /AcceptEula

then if successful use your own product key below after reboot
slmgr /ipk xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx-xxxxx
slmgr /ato
