A static method of a static class is not available——VsShellUtilities.ShowToolsOptionsPage

the Namespace is Microsoft.VisualStudio.Shell
and I use VS2019,CLR is .NET Framework 4.6/4.7.2
My colleague can't use this method either

Hi @sigeer,
I tested the new project in VS2019 with the .NET Framework 4.7.2 and found no problems.
Can you elaborate on how it doesn't work? Do you have specific error messages?

Actually, I tried to use this method to jump to the custom options page, but now I found a new way, thanks anyway

Hi @sigeer,
Are you downloading the nuget package version in the screenshot?
Maybe you can uninstall the reinstall.
My new .NET Framework 4.7.2 project in VS2022 and VS2019 has a ShowToolsOptionsPage method.

It turns out that my nuget package version is 16.0, so there is no such method
thank u


But unfortunately, my boss insisted that I use the old version because our project is targeting framework 4.6, hahaha.
But don't worry, I found an alternative
