WINDOWS 2016 WSUS sync failed

Question

Hello,guys, I built WSUS today, but it sync failed and got error as below. i tried to fixed it by best practice which other post(adjusted IIS WSUS pool). it was failed again. anyone can help me? thanks in advance.

Hi,

Please try to run WSUS server cleanup wizard.

According to the screenshot, the first sync is successful, but there is no update. So please check the network is normal, is it synced from Microsoft directly? If not, please change it and see if it succeed.

Besides, please check SoftwareDistribution.log for further information, it provides information about the software updates that are synchronized from the configured update source to the WSUS server database.

When this issue occurs, you usually receive the following errors:

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.

0x80072EFE - The connection with the server was terminated abnormally

To troubleshoot this issue, follow these steps:

Verify that the WSUS server can connect to the Internet.
Verify that the firewall is configured to allow communication with Microsoft Update. For more information, see Connection from the WSUS server to the Internet.
Verify the proxy server settings.

it was successful when i just choose single product （like just try to sync wind2016）.

Likely an issue with "Windows Insider Dev Channel" product. Uncheck it and try again.
