I contacted a William at I thought Microsoft Security at 805-900-0912. He sent me to an Andy Lova at 254-570-3636 at Waredot who downloaded a Waredot Security program for $429.95/yr. Is Waredot a Microsoft sponsored affiliated program or a scam?

There is a YouTube video of this company. They started as a legit company but they are now running as a scam call centre during the night. There is a video exposing their operation.

Do not call them. If you have been scammed report to police

Hi, I am an Independent Advisor.

Let me help you with this issue.

I understand that you have been contacted by someone who installed the Waredot application on your PC.

Waredot is not part of Microsoft nor an affiliated program. Please try to contact Waredot and check with them if they have received and processed your subscription.

Waredot is legit security software, but we are not sure if the people who called you are real representatives of that company. I checked the website and the 1 year subscription is way lower than what was offered to you.

    Hi

As of a few days ago this scam center has been raided by the Delhi police on the 7th of march. Microsoft has also taken action on it and will now pop up a notification when trying to pay Waredot trough their website. How ever their website is still running and I will not recommend on connecting with them. Microsoft has also confirmed that they are trying to get rid of all website and adds for Waredot.
