Hi Team,

In azure portal, i have created an alert rule, when alert condition met email is being sent. For email sending, under action group ->notifications, i had selected Email/SMS Message/Push/Voice (given one email), its status is (under notifications is coming as Subscribed).
Now, under notifications, under email resource manager role, i have selected 2 roles (1 row for each role) and saved, but under notifications, for status column, dash "-" is shown for these rows,

  1. Why "-" is shown for status column of Email Azure resource manager role.
  2. Will email get send for those 2 rows(for Email Azure resource manager role) when alert condition met?

Thanks,
Salil

I confirmed the same experience regarding the "-" being show under Subscribed column. I'm attempting to get further clarification when using Email Azure Resource Manager role type but my I thought it's simply because the way it's implemented. The platform is using a role and looking up the email address rather than it being direct. With regards to your second question, any notification types add will/should fire when the associate alert rule your group is associated with is triggered. Just be aware of the rate limits.
