High ram usage while idle on a windows 11 pc

Just like the title goes, my laptop gets about 50~60 ram usage while idle, even though it has 16 gigs of ram. Tried checking with the task manager doesn't seem to spot anything going on. Also, I've tried fixing the registry, disabling startup applications, defragmenting drives, turning off Sysmain, as said on the Internet, but they all didn't change anything. Is there any way to fix this while not clean installing windows again?

My laptop is currently on Windows 11 build 22000,

Hello, I have the same problem : my laptop has 16GB of RAM and with no application open else than Firefox, my RAM usage is 52%, and never seems to be less than 40%. Often when I work with 3-4 applications at the same time, I get a black screen and I am forced to reboot.

In the Task Manager, it seems like I have a gazillion small processes that add up and I don't really know which ones to remove. Even if I end them in the Task Manager, they come back after I've rebooted.

It's a painful problem and Microsoft should really fix it because it's impossible to work in those conditions.

I haven't started anything beside chrome, and i do have slack and docker on desktop running on startup.

Its i5 10th generation processor , 16GB of RAM and SSD.

Win 11 is working terribly. Is there a way to downgrade to windows 10 ?

Same here : 32 Gb of RAM available and showing a 85% usage, although very little program usage.

Not having information on what is currently using the RAM does not give me much confidence in the Task Manager...

I have latest patches installed (including the KB5011563 March cumulative update)
