Hi Team,

I have created an alert rule for one app service plan and one SQL managed instance. I could see the alert are firing but i am not getting email alerts.

1) Is there a way on Azure portal, through which email associated with Notification Type - Email/SMS
message/Push/Voice could be stopped from being sent. If yes, where to find that setting in portal.
2) Is there a way through which alerts shown on Alert blade of a resource may give more insight into why associated
email was not sent for it.

Thanks,
Salil

    Hi there,

    1) I don't really understand your question. But if you want to find all action groups that have been stopped to trigger alert instances by some reasons - no, you can get the data in email only (for example, if your notification action group is too noisy)

    But if you are looking for disabled instances, just check all Action Groups assigned to Alert Rules.

    2) Yes, you can get the data in alert instance itself. Just open a history tab in alert. Action Group is a hyper-linked url that includes all information about actions being used when an alert has been created, including email if it's configured.

    @salilsingh-9961 ,

    Are your email server and mailbox accepting external emails?

    Verify that emails from these three addresses are not blocked:

    azure-noreply@microsoft.com
    azureemail-noreply@microsoft.com
    alerts-noreply@Monique gmx .windowsazure.com

    You can refer Did not receive expected email section from below link,
