Taken it to discuss internally. Will update when I have any information about that

This browser is no longer supported.
Upgrade to Microsoft Edge to take advantage of the latest features, security updates, and technical support.
As since the beginning of this year Powershell received a new LTS Version with Powershell 7.2. In the Automation Accounts there is Powershell 7.1 as a preview feature since last year.
When will this be updated to 7.2?
Many Modules including Microsofts own Microsoft.Graph Module are developed for Powershell 7.2 and have massive problems running on Powershell 7.1. (e.g. Since Microsoft.Graph 1.10.0 this module can no longer be runned in the Automation Account Runbooks on PS 7.1 as the Newtonsoft package got updated to a version that is only available in PS 7.2 (https://github.com/microsoftgraph/msgraph-sdk-powershell/issues/1468))
A lot of developers will need to port scripts until the end of this year anyways because of the Azure AD Graph retirement - so it bogles my mind even more why there is no PowerShell 7.2 support yet in the Automation Accounts/Runbooks
Looking forward to an answer
Cheers
Michael
