Purview and REST API: Not able to assign roles to the deployed child collection in purview account using REST API

I am trying to create automation module using Purview data plane REST API to deploy purview collection (not the root collection) and assign Purview roles at this collection level. I am using purview data plane REST API.
I looked at the REST catalog for collections and couldn’t find any API for roles assignments at collection level.
Through the code I can provision the purview collection but unable to assign permission/roles.
Can you recommend a solution?

    Yes, there are MetadataPolicy APIs which are well documented - https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/rest/api/purview/metadatapolicydataplane/metadata-policy

    You can use the update metadatapolicy APIs /policyStore/metadataPolicies/{policyId}?api-version=2021-07-01-preview.
