Windows Home Server 2011

Question

I just had to reinstall Windows Home Server 2011. I have a WD My Book attached via USB. I went to the Home Server dashboard and attempted to schedule a server backup. The backup failed stating that backup services were not running. I then went to the desktop and started the server manager program. I can complete a SERVER backup using the Server Manager program from the Desktop. I scheduled backups and they are running as scheduled. Any ideas as to why the Dashboard server backup fails ? I do not see any failed events in the event viewer.

Do you find any Event ID triggered when the Dashboard crashes?
