Good afternoon, I would like to know something.
You see I created an azure account to do some tests a few months ago, I finished doing those tests, I canceled my azure subscription and unlinked my credit card.
But now I have a doubt, there is some risk of leaving my account linked to azure there without doing anything. In the sense that at some point because of this it could cause me problems in the future, such as canceling my Microsoft account or something like that?
I need the confirmation that the microsoft account associated with that azure account will not be deleted regardless of never using azure again
Yes, that's correct, at least once in two years or if you have a cert linked then it appears that could also qualify.

if the reply is helpful--Ok, I suppose that makes sense, the only thing that perhaps makes me wonder now, under the assumption that I only need to log in so that it is registered as an activity in my account, and since Azure is a Microsoft product linked to my main account, no should any activity in my main account (such as turning on my pc, using office, the xbox) count towards avoiding my inactivity in azure, or because in the case of azure the concept of "inactivity" is handled separately?
An Azure account simply uses a microsoft account for authentication and a billing method.
If you used online services associated with the account then this would count as activity.

if the reply is helpful--If that's the case, then do I have the ability to somehow delete everything related to azure, without touching anything else from my microsoft account?
You can follow along here to cancel your Azure subscription.
https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/azure/cost-management-billing/manage/cancel-azure-subscription
If you have a free trial or pay-as-you-go subscription, you don't have to wait 90 days for the subscription to automatically delete. You can delete your subscription three days after you cancel it. The Delete subscription option isn't available until three days after you cancel your subscription.

if the reply is helpful--Correct, dimo my subscription has already been canceled, and I have unlinked my credit card, is that all I have to do, or is there any other way to unlink with azure?
Should be it.
Note: 90 days after you cancel a subscription, the subscription will automatically be deleted.
