Recently we switched users from Office 2013 to Office 365 desktop applications. All of our users have a E3 license. Their mailbox's are still on an Exchange 2016 server that is configured in hybrid mode. There haven't been any issues until just a few days ago where some users are opening their outlook desktop app and it will just hang as if frozen, if that user opens a web browser and logs into portal.office.com they are then able to use outlook with out issue, until it is closed or the PC is restarted. Please advise on the issue.

    Hi @Jesse Van Wert ,

    Welcome to our forum!

There haven't been any issues until just a few days ago where some users are opening their outlook desktop app and it will just hang as if frozen

What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.

As i know, this issue may be caused by several factors, such as third-party add-ins, damaged Outlook profile. Please refer to this article and try the troubleshooting steps: Outlook not responding, stuck at "Processing," stopped working, or freezes.

    Hope to help you!
