There haven't been any issues until just a few days ago where some users are opening their outlook desktop app and it will just hang as if frozen
What's the version of your Outlook? (File > Office Account > About Outlook). Please make sure you have upgraded your Outlook to the latest version.
As i know, this issue may be caused by several factors, such as third-party add-ins, damaged Outlook profile. Please refer to this article and try the troubleshooting steps: Outlook not responding, stuck at "Processing," stopped working, or freezes.
