Following the blog below, I retrieved the log and sent an email to v-yicche@microsoft.com.
However, an undeliverable email was returned.
Please tell me where to contact for log investigation.

Visual Studio 2008 has not been supported in 5 years. You will not be able to get any support for it from MS. If you already had it installed then it would possibly continue to work but installing on a machine is out of support.
