There are several reasons why your Outlook for office running slow. You can try some basic troubleshooting methods and check if it helps.
A. Run an online repair (office).
- Close all Office applications.
- Search for the control panel in the search bar on the taskbar, and click enter.
- Choose a category view.
- In the Programs section, click uninstall a program and search for office 365.
- Right-click Microsoft Office 365 and select Modify.
- Select Online Repair. When prompted for User Account Control, select Yes.
When it is done, Restart your PC.
Launch outlook.

If the issue persists, create a New outlook profile.
C. Create a New Outlook user profile:
a. Open control panel. b. Change the category to small or large icons. c. Click Mail (Microsoft Outlook). d. In the window, click show profile. e. Click Add, name it (whatever name you want to) d. Enter your e-mail address and click next.
Your test profile is created.
If that profile works, you can export all the emails in .pst format from the old profile and import it on the New user profile in Outlook.
