Pc crashing while updating

Question

Hello, yestarday i decided to go to windows update to check if there was any new updates and there was, so i updated and then my pc crashed on startup, and today after i got home from work, i see the update screen with the percentage and then it crashing. I tried to use the automatic recovery but it didnt do anything, and then i tried going to safe mode with networking wich also didnt do anything and now it just shuts off after a few seaconds after turning it on.

Thanks for the reply, after posting yesterday i tried some more including a clean install but it failed and now my pc is in a loop starting up bluescreening and restarting. I cant access recovery menu, only bios. I dont know if its possible to fix anymore. But i hope that replacing the ssd might get it to work. But thanks for trying to help

In your description, your computer crashed on reboot after an update.

I noticed that you tried to use the Auto Repair feature while trying to enter Safe Mode, thank you for your efforts and attempts to resolve this issue, I do understand the frustration and inconvenience of a computer not booting up properly after installing an update at this time.

You can refer to the following steps to try to attempt Startup Repair via Windows RE

1 Press and hold the power button to force a shutdown, then reboot, and repeat this three times

2 After the above repeated startups, boot up again, the system will enter the Windows RE interface, and a series of options will appear, please follow the instructions in the back of my instructions.

3 Click on “Troubleshooting”.

4 Select “Advanced Options”

5 Select “Startup Repair”

See if you can boot up and enter the system normally after this.

If the problem still persists, please try to enter Windows RE again, then after selecting Advanced Options, select Uninstall Updates and try to uninstall this update and see if you can boot your computer normally.

If the problem still exists, we can only recover by reinstalling the system. Please refer to the steps below

1 Take out your hard disk from your computer and plug it into another computer to backup the data inside, after that, format it and plug it back into your computer.

2 Use a USB drive to make a system installation media, plug it into your computer, then boot up your computer, and under the guidance of the motherboard manual or device manufacturer, enter the BIOS setup page, set the system installation media (USB drive) made earlier as the boot device, and reinstall the system in this way.

Thanks for your reply.

I understand that at the moment you can only access the BIOS setup page.

In my previous reply, I ended up providing you with a way to reinstall Windows through the BIOS, so please try this option.

If you are still unable to install or start Windows, then this is most likely a hardware failure on your computer, please contact the equipment manufacturer of your computer and have them perform a full hardware check on your computer.
