How do I boot a Surface Laptop to the UEFI menu?

Before you answer "hold the volume button",  I am asking about a Surface laptop that has no external power/ volume buttons. (not the tablet) I have tried using the F6 to no avail.

I want to be able to boot to USB.

Thank you for any insight.

Boot to the UEFI and change the boot order and drag USB to the top of the boot order list.

    Hello Idontlikechangebutwilldomybest,

Thanks for reaching Microsoft Community and posting your concern here.

To boot to UEFI without using the buttons, please hold down the Shift key and click the Restart icon on the screen. This will boot you to Choose an Option screen. Once there, select Troubleshoot > Advanced options > UEFI Firmware Settings. You should be able to boot to UEFI now.
