Hello,

Well my system showed me that there was some problem and has to suddenly restart, after that my network settings stopped work and now I am not even able to get in to the network settings. I tried restart, network problem screening and also update but nothing works and there is not any problem with WiFi or router. Is there something how to fix it?

Thanks.

Hello, I'm Jan and I'm happy to help you today. I'm sorry that you are experiencing this problem. Most likely a driver problem or possible corruption problem occurs after the sudden restart. Here are some things you can try.

    1. Try to perform a system restore. Check if you have any restore points available. Then select a restore point dated before this problem occurred. This will remove drivers, updates, and will revert any changes in the settings.

    Use System Restore

    https://support.microsoft.com//windows/use-syst...

    1. Try to power reset/cycle your computer.

    Unplug the computer's power cord

Press and hold the power button for 15-20 seconds

    Plug in the power cord

    Turn on the computer

    1. Press the Windows key then search "Network reset"

    Then open network reset

    and click "reset"

    Restart your computer

    1. Uninstall the network driver.

    Press Windows key + X

    then select Device Manager

    Open Device Manager

    then under network adapter

    Uninstall your Wifi WLAN driver.

    then restart your computer.

If the WIFI is still not available or disabled. Download the latest Wifi driver from the Manufacturer's support website.

Install the driver and restart your computer.

    1. Open Command Prompt then Run as Administrator.

Type in each code then hit Enter

    netsh winsock reset

    netsh int ip reset

    ipconfig /release

    ipconfig /renew

    ipconfig /flushdns

    Once done, restart your computer.

    1. If network settings are not working or it indicates an error. Try to scan your computer using SFC to check for problems with files on your computer.

Using System File Checker in Windows

    https://support.microsoft.com//windows/using-sy...

    1. If a Bluescreen error showed before this problem occurred. There might be another problem causing the network problem. Please share the latest dmp file.

We need the actual .dmp files to analyze what caused the computer to crash/BSOD.

    Please locate this folder.

    C:\Windows\Minidump

Put the files in a zip

    upload the files to Onedrive

    Share the link here.

    Thank you.
