I want to remove New Outlook's access to my HM and OTLK domain accounts and remove New Outlook from my machine completely, without affecting the MAIL and Old Outlook accounts, as currently configured. Windows 10 (up to date)

Uninstall the new Outlook - uninstall the app in Windows Settings: Open Windows Settings > Apps. Find Outlook (New) under installed apps and click the dots to the right of the name and choose Advanced options- then Uninstall. That will remove the app and the profile.

That should get you back in Mail (at least until they remove it) - if not, this article has the instructions to revert to Windows mail or Outlook for Windows: https://support.microsoft.com/office/toggling-out-of-the-new-outlook-for-windows-preview-ec102b39-5727-418e-ae1f-a1805434640c

The new Outlook is a work in progress - you can leave feedback and suggestions in the Feedback forum. Or, if a suggestion exists, vote for and comment on it. https://feedbackportal.microsoft.com/feedback/forum/89a8afa3-2e1c-ec11-b6e7-0022481f8472

Sorry about that typo - my fingers sometimes have a mind of their own and I missed it. :(

    Hello

I’m Adeyemi and I’d be happy to help you with your question.

I understand that you want to remove the New Outlook from your machine without affecting the Mail and old Outlook accounts. Here's how you can do it:

    1. Uninstall Outlook: You can uninstall Outlook from your PC using Control Panel or Settings. This will remove the New Outlook from your machine
    2. Change Registry Settings: After uninstalling, you can run Regedit.exe and go to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Office\16.0\Outlook\Preferences and set UseNewOutlook to 0. This will make the old Outlook run instead of the New Outlook

Please note that you should back up your data before making any changes to your system. If you're not comfortable making these changes yourself, it might be a good idea to reach out to a professional for help.

    I hope this helps.

Confusing for you to say "Uninstall the Old Outlook".

Actually, typing Outlook in the search bar will show you both the Outlook (new) and the Outlook app. Highlighting the Outlook (new) has the option to uninstall.

The 'toggle' link you provided had already been done, so I do not know if it still would have been needed.

The regedit sequence had already been done.
