Book mode?

Hello fellow users of Microsoft Word,

Is there such like a Book mode? Neither Print Layout mode, nor Read Mode, including Multiple Page and Side to Side, because these set all pages two by two, with the first page on the left. Whereas Book mode sets all pages two by two too, but the first page on the right.

Just wondering how to better use my wide monitor with multiple pages document with mirrored page layout.

For a better Print Preview display, add the PrintPreviewEditMode command to your QAT. This gives you the classic Print Preview (full-width window), which is also editable (if you disable the Magnifier).

Only the print preview at File > Print will show a document correctly, as a book (with left-hand/even pages on the left and right-hand/odd-numbered pages on the right), assuming that you have enabled "Different odd and even" and/or "Mirror margins" in Page Setup.

This is indeed a helpful suggestion, thanks.

I added it as follows: File > Options > Customize Ribbon > Left column: All Commands > Add to View: Printer Preview Edit Mode.

All works fine, and I have just one question left for the visual layout of this Printer Preview Edit Mode: Is there a way to 'open' the document at the right page? Now is the first/front/right page on the left in this Edit Mode.
