Microsoft Office 2021 lifetime license for one PC really cheap - legit?

I've come across a number of these offers for Microsoft Office 2021 that are (generally) 'one lifetime license for one PC' for pretty low prices. They are always for Office 2021, only work on Windows 10 or 11 (I have 11) and are lifetime licenses. I've seen them as low as $16 to several at a mid $30 price point. Here is one example for about $35:

Are these legit? I just retired and would still like access to Excel and Word, and would prefer a license at $35 (or less) vs a monthly subscription at about $7 or 8/month.

I've read that sometimes these can be OEM licenses which can have some limitations. But the link above indicates this is a full retail license.

Any insights/tips greatly appreciated. thanks!

I use McAfee security software and if I attempt to access the web address you supplied, it is blocked as per the following screen shot. Therefore, I suggest that you stay clear of it. They are a scam to get your banking details so they can then access your money.

    Welcome to Microsoft Community.

I am a Microsoft user just like you, I hope you are doing well.

I always advise against such offers. I recommend you purchase from Microsoft store or any retailer you are certain of. However, I am unable to verify if it Us legit.

OssieMac - thanks for providing that screenshot. Appreciate it! Will definitely steer clear of this site and others like it. BTW - i'm thinking of getting McAfee too. Why did you end up with them vs another (like Norton, BitDefender, Avast, etc)? In some articles I read that built in programs like Microsoft Defender additional protection is not needed. I'm not inclined to agree with that, tho.

I started using McAfee quite a few years ago now when it was included in the computer package that I purchased. I have replaced my computer a couple of times since then and just stuck with McAfee because I still had paid for time left. No other specific reason but I am sure that there are others equally as good. I like that it blocks web sites that are suspicious as per the screen shot but you will notice that the user can still access the site if they wish. However, if suspicious, then I don't go there.

I am not sufficiently qualified to comment on Microsoft Defender, comparisons with any of the other security software packages or to offer recommendations.
