How do I delete emails in outlook by date instead of one at a time or all at once.

I cant figure out how to delete email by date or choosing the month. I can only choose focused which checkmarks all the emails and delete it at once.

I do not want to click one at a time either.

Is there a way to delete by sections or date?

Hi, I'm Karl and will be happy to help you today.

The best way to do that would be to sort the folder by date and then highlight the first and last message in the date sequence you want to delete.

    This is done by

#1 - Select the applicable folder

Sort the folder by date - there are 2 ways to do that

    Option #1

#2 - Click on the filter icon (down arrow - top right of the items list)

    #3 - Select <Date>

    Option #2

#4 - Click on the <View> ribbon tab

    #5 - Click on <View Settings>

    #6 - Click on <Sort>

    #7 - Select the field(s) you want to sort on (i.e. <Received>)

    When done

#8 - Single click on the first item you want to delete

#9 - Hold down the <Shift>key and click on the last item in the sequence you want to delete

#10 - Press <delete> to delete all the selected items
