After installing KB5035853, massive performance drop for AMD 6800 processor. Microsoft must test their updates on both AMD and Intel and not just Intel before pushing updates onto their users. Some research indicated that this update already had issues weeks ago. After attempting to uninstall the update multiple times, it reinstalled itself even with windows update blocked. The only fix was to factory reset and block windows update.

Indeed. Same problem happend with my Asus Rog Ally and HP AMD 5700U laptop. Both of them stuttering. The issue is widely discussed on Reddit. Now communities of AMD fans are thinking to go on Linux as Microsoft is not care about AMD customers. All issues seems in AMD owners as they see BSOD, Graphics driver issue, System stuttering due to this update.

I can confirm that I am experiencing regular BSODs on an Intel machine after this update was installed today.

I saw five or six BSODs that looked like they were pointing at tcpip.sys.

After I removed the update, I have not had a further BSOD.

Prior to today the system that experienced the BSODs had been very stable.

Furthermore, on a different machine (also Intel) I started getting graphical issues (external monitor) and slowness about a week ago; I just checked and KB5035853 was installed exactly a week ago. Coincidence?

    Hello Team,

Are you going to release a patch to the KB5035853 update? I have it a try and I get a blue screen everytime I install it. After like 30 resets it manags to go into windows, so I can uninstall it.

    Thanks
